Wicked - An Elphaba Inspired Look

Since getting the Urban Decay Oz The Great and Powerful palettes I have been wanting to do looks to represent Elphaba and Glenda from the Broadway Musical "Wicked"...well I've finally achieved a look inspired by Elphaba. Elphaba (being my favorite character) has sharp cheekbones and deep hollow eyes to make her more "wicked". In this look I tried to recreate her green face in my eyes with the Jealous color from the palette and smoke out the color to make a hollow deep set eye with browns and dark green. I also tried to achieve the sharp cheekbones by contouring my cheeks heavily and using a bright dark red blush. To go along with the Wicked show poster I went with a red lip. I hope you enjoy watching how I go this look as much as I enjoy the musical and the makeup used to create it.

Getting Ready to Move

So this week seems in my brain to be hectic. My mom and I have so much to do before movers come and before we can actually move. We aren't leaving until the 18th or 19th but I'm working all next week and won't have time to get things in order. Because we have so much to do we have decided to take our time and ultimately procrastinate. Ugghhh..so much on my mind of what I need to do. You would think with all the moving that myself and my family has done over the years it should be easy, but it's not. Every time you move you seem to accumulate more and more junk that can't seem to be parted with. Fortunately I am already planning on getting rid of a lot. Things that I don't use, don't wear, etc. I wish I just knew where to start. HAHA. I'm going to try to take some time out every day to post you guys on what is going on in the moving process, but as we all know, I like to procrastinate, dream big and then sleep instead of doing what I am supposed to do. Well, off to at least start on one room... Take care!!! XOXO MEE P.S. I won't be doing a January Favorites, simply because I didn't really have any true favorites. I AM going to TRY to get a review on the new Urban Decay Oz palettes, but with all the moving that may have to wait. I did use the Theodora palette yesterday and I am in LOVE!!!
